FIRST LOOK: the new John Lewis Christmas ad

Hmmm, you’ve reached an older feature - let’s get you up to date! Read our latest advertising features here.

Hot off the viral presses, here’s the new John Lewis Christmas ad. I love it – makes a welcome change from ads with product shots every two seconds and it’s clever and quirky and *sniff* kind of heartwarming too.

But that’s just me, what do you think?

By the way, if you like the cover of Frankie Goes to Hollywood’s The Power of Love, it’s sung by 20 year old Gabrielle Aplin. She’s already released three EPs through her own record label, and had 12 million YouTube views, so check her out. Her debut album is scheduled for release next year.

Couldn’t agree more about Waddesdon. We do buggyfit sessions there every Thursday afternoon and it is stunning at this time of year. Gives us a warm feeling inside….and that’s before the mulled wine!
