Xmas decorations – the Fairtrade way
Hmmm, you’ve reached an older feature - let’s get you up to date! Read our latest Hero's Blog features here.
Generally I luxuriate in the fluffy, scented bath of Muddy Stilettos (sorry, do you mind passing the loofah?). But occasionally I’m jolted into remembering that some people are doers and make a real difference where it matters.
My friend Philippa has given up her job as a paediatrician to help Cambodian families in poverty to earn an honest living and build themselves a future.
She’s selling their unique and beautifully handmade Fair Trade Christmas decorations and Christmas presents, made from silks and cottons, in Haddenham tomorrow morning (Wednesday 21 November) at the St Mary’s Centre by the picturesque church and duck pond.
If you happen to be in the area, please come and support it, and come and say hello to me while you’re there!
St Mary’s Centre, Haddenham (opposite Parminters). 9.30am-12.00pm. Tea, Coffee and cake available. www.fairtradeinteriors.com.
