In January 2013 Brakspear gave 57-59 Bell Street a major makeover and on Good Friday, 29th March 2013, The Bull on Bell Street was revealed. The building itself is one of Henley’s oldest, dating back some 700 years, and we like to think we’ve given it a modern look whilst making the most of its character.

Pizzas are a major focus for us, because of our new wood-fired oven. We also use it to cook a range of other things as well. Using a wood-fired oven boosts the flavour, as it imparts a smoky taste whilst distributing the heat evenly. It’s also a quicker way to cook too and ensures the food retains more of its nutrients. Dishes are carefully planned to make sure all the ingredients complement each other perfectly. All our food is freshly prepared on the premises, using locally sourced ingredients where possible.

We’ve carefully selected our bar range to ensure wide variety combining high quality, to suit all tastes. We have spirits, beers and wines from all over the world, as well as cask ales brewed in our very own micro-brewery. We make the best cocktails fresh to order too. We are the only bar in Henley on Thames that also has a baby grand piano. We’ll serenade you every Friday with our live entertainment.
