The Curiosity Box
Muddy says: A brilliant present for kids 7-11 years interested in science – hand on activities linked to the KS2 Curriculum, and packaged attractively for presents. My children loved them.
I’m not easily impressed by through-the-post kids boxes, but this one is something else. Oxford-based company The Curiosity Box is bursting with hands-on activities and a collectable lab kit to help children explore the science in their every day.
You can choose from a variety of themes, including weird water, fossils and cosmic blast off, and if you’re feeling a bit tiger parent about it all, be assured that the activities link to the KS2 curriculum for 7-11 year olds.
I tried out two Curiosity Boxes with my kids (aged 7 and 9 at the time) and they absolutely loved them so I’m happy to recommend. Plus they look attractive and don’t cost the earth (available from £9.95) so they’re ideal for pressies.
