One of the prettiest spots for a wedding in Buckinghamshire, Waddesdon Manor’s beautiful Dairy nestles in a tranquil waterside setting amongst glorious gardens. Waddesdon Manor itself is the National Trust’s jewel in the crown, an extravagant chateau created for Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild just outside Aylesbury in the late 19th century, and the country retreat of the Rothschild family for 100 years.
Ceremonies for up to 110 guests can be held outside in the courtyard garden, or on the romantic lakeside pavilions. Inside, the Wintergarden with its spectacular views of the water gardens, or the West Hall with its vaulted ceiling and stone fireplaces provide an ideal setting for a wedding breakfast. This being Waddesdon, there’s no shortage of fantastic Rothschild wines to accompany the day, and as you’d expect of the Manor, catering at the venue is top notch, too.
