Muddy says: There’s upmarket childrenswear aplenty at this charming Old Amersham independent boutique.
This bunting-bedecked, family-run childrenswear shop is part of Ambers of Amersham, a boutique and beauty salon complex set within a 15th century converted mill in Old Amersham. There’s also a café selling homemade cakes on site, should you be in urgent need of a scone after extensively flexing your credit card.
The stock is as pretty as the setting, with upmarket brands including Emile et Rose for ridiculously gorgeous babygros, Weekend à la Mer and Hatley (love their printed raincoats). It’s the perfect place for a christening or birthday gift, and caters from newborns up to the age of 9.
It’s all beautifully merchandised so you’ll definitely want to linger to coo over bonnets and tiny socks. It’s almost enough to make me want to have another baby (*urgent smelling salts for Mr Muddy*).
