Muddy says: This small-but-perfectly-formed Thame yoga studio has something for all levels, styles and ages. One Muddy staffer has clocked up five years of downward dogging here – it’s that good!
Muddy’s associate editor Kerry has clocked up five solid years of downward dogs at The Space yoga studio in Thame, so it’s fair to say she’s something of a fan. It’s not the largest of studios but that does mean class sizes are pleasingly small. And more importantly the standard of teaching is excellent. Owner Ginny Moffett believes yoga should be accessible to everyone, so there are children’s classes and ‘golden years’ ones too, plus sessions to suit everyone from total beginners to those wanting to train as yoga teachers. There’s loads of different styles to choose from too, and serious yogis will find something to challenge them (all too often yoga classes can feel a bit “is that it?” in my experience). Kerry recommends the ashtanga primary series on a Monday night – be warned though, it’s pretty hardcore.
