Your Organisational Angel
Muddy says: This Oxfordshire-based decluttering expert won’t boss you around or bully you into throwing away your treasured possessions. Empathetic and gentle, Leslie Beattie is all about mindful organisation.
Anyone who’s ever cleared out their wardrobe will know that decluttering can be an oddly emotional experience, as our possessions are bound up with so many memories (even if it’s just feeling a bit grumpy that I’ll probably never squeeze into all those size 8 bodycon dresses again). Oxfordshire-based organisational expert Lesley Beattie totally gets that, and gently coaches clients through reflecting on and then letting go of the clutter. So basically, we’re talking mindful – rather than mindless – decluttering.
She works with a range of clients; among them people who’ve become overwhelmed by paperwork, people whose kitchens are a disaster zone, people who’ve downsized and don’t know where to start with paring down their stuff and people who run businesses from home and need functional work/life spaces (*puts up hand*). Lesley’s an ex-teacher so she’s big on empathy, intuition and kindly coaxing. Send her round to Muddy HQ pronto!
