Did someone say takeaway?

Restaurants, cafes and bars may be closing, but you can still support our brilliant local businesses by ordering a takeaway. Here's who's offering the service in Bucks & Oxon.

At this time of uncertainty, we want to keep you updated with what’s happening in Bucks & Oxon (because, let’s be honest, nobody really has a clue). We also want to do everything we possibly can to support all the amazing local businesses that are struggling now that we’re in lockdown for the forseeable future.

The small good news is that a few businesses are still able to operate takeaway services, so please use this post as a crib sheet of how you can still support your favourite eateries – by picking up a takeaway, or sharing on social media – and make sure you let us know if we’ve missed anyone off the list in the comments below.

Roll call, please!

    Hello,
Flo’s the Place the Park has its refill shop and cafe open:

The Refill Shop is open 12:30-5pm on Saturdays and 12:30-8pm on Wednesdays with additional hygiene measures in place.

The Flo Cafe will be open for takeaways, outside seating for food and drinks on today Friday 20th and tomorrow Saturday 20th.The cafe will close on Saturday at 4pm for the next two weeks. Updates will follow about what happens thereafter but we currently are planning to open again, from April 4th, with a takeaway and delivery service.

The community play space will also not be open to the public for drop in stay and play. We are working to identify other ways that we can support parents and other neighbours at this challenging time-.

    http://www.flosoxford.org.uk for updates.

    THANKS!
    Flo’s team.

You’ve missed two local eateries in Old Amersham

    1220 http://www.cafetwelvetwenty.co.uk/
    the grocer https://www.thegrocershops.co.uk/

Both are much loved by the locals and we are all doing our bit to support them and ensure that they stay a feature on our high street.
