The return of the Native
Yessssss! I’m superexcited! I’ve been hoping for a while that the brilliant pop up Native Feasts would return and here it is, booked in for three weekends in December (2-3, 9-10, 16-17) at the cool and quirky LASSCO Three Pigeons in Milton Common.
Native Feasts is a collaboration between the awesomely talented Michelin star chef Chris Godfrey (right) and maitre d’ Greg Jones (middle), who recently left the equally Michelin starred The Sir Charles Napier in Chinnor to pursue Native Feasts and his own wine business full time. So, you know, no absence of talent!
This time round, Native Feasts is offering an extra fifth course, plus organic wines, festive cocktails and sharing tables. No surprises to discover that over half of tickets have already gone – in less than a week, people – so my advice is get to it pronto. I went to the first pop up event in March and it was so much fun – there are so few really quality, original nights out here that tick all the boxes but this was one of them. It’s the sort of thing that works best with mates which is why I’ve already grabbed mine and booked a table!
It’s £40 a head without booze so remember to factor that in – really good value for a Michelin night out in a cool space don’t you think? Book in and I’ll see you at the bar for the pre-dinner cocktails.
