Is there anything more enticing than a beautifully presented box within a box? The prize within is in fact a gorgeous hamper from a newly launched Artisan Valley, the online hamper offshoot of the newly reopened High Wycombe deli Local Roots. It’s championing the best artisan producers in the Thames Valley and selling the produce nationally.

Inside the Hedgerows & Herbs hamper

I’m always banging on about local produce and how fortunate we are in this part of the world to have such fantastic food, and it seems that others must agree, because Thames Valley produce is now covetable in other parts of the UK. Fan-flippin-tastic!

The hampers have interesting themes, such as Hedgerows & Herbs, Chilli Lovers or Made In The Chilterns along with the usual array of chocolate, sparkling and moorish Christmas versions, and contain, in addition to their various goodies, a handwritten message on behalf of the person buying the gift. Well worth a look if you’re after a last minute gift.

Not sure that tea from Truro counts as ‘local’ although it is at least British…(and supposed to be lovely ofc) 🙂
