Find Boutique Bootcamp – you’re gonna love it
Word has reached my shell-like of a frankly *awesome* concept. and I’m totally going to hot-footing it down to South Oxfordshire as fast I my stilettos will carry me to try a Find Boutique Bootcamp.
‘Tell us more, Hero!’ I hear you cry (come on, just roll with me here). OK then, thanks for asking. The Find Boutique Bootcamp is basically a combined fashion and fitness class Nothing as silly as attempting burpees in a powersuit – though wouldn’t that be fun to watch? – but a way to mix the business of booty busting and shopping pleasure. Basically you pay £10 for your class, and the fee is redeemable against anything at the boutique which runs on a theme, so one week might be berry colours, the next party-wear.
But we are not talking tat here. Nope nopety nope! We’re talking about stock from mywardrobe, the former etailer that was sold to Net A Porter last year. So the brands are the likes of Carven, Acne, Max Mara, Red Valentino and Frame denim at 60 to 90% off the original rrp – I know!!! – plus the new mywardrobe London collection retailing from £30 to £90, studio samples all under £20 and accessories mostly a tenner.
The fitness classes use two trainers with a maximum of 10 people in any class – forget about being that slacker at the back – and are designed to be demanding without being sweaty, so that fashy fitties can get straight on with their day rather than having to detour to the shower.
The Muddy buttocks have not yet trembled at the Find Boutique Bootcamp treatment, but apparently much work is done on lifting and rounding said buttocks and working on internal and external obliques to get the long, lean look that I’ve always enjoyed in my slimline inner fantasy life.
If you too want to have your uplifted and rounded behind encased in some designer clobber, there are currently two regular classes – one on Thursdays at The Barn in Abingdon, and the second on Mondays at The Swan at Streatley. There are also occasional full days of Fashion, Fitness and Food at locations like the Spa at Cliveden and Soho Farmhouse, so I’ll keep my ear to the ground on those for you.
Right excuse me, I’m off to do some lunges in my Atelier Versace evening gown.
