<p>&#8220;Old Tom Gin is a very old style of English gin dating back to the 17th Century. Production techniques and ingredients were often very poor, resulting in a rough-tasting drink. It was therefore sweetened slightly, and sometimes spiced lightly, to make it more palatable. This often resulted in a spirit that was no longer clear. </p>



<p>Sky Wave Gin has been faithful to this style, creating a brand new exquisitely crafted historic gin brought up to date for the discerning 21<sup>st</sup> century drinker. The spicy sweetness gives a great twist to the Singapore Sling.&#8221;</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-ingredients">INGREDIENTS</h2>



<ul><li>60ml Sky Wave Old Tom Gin</li><li>15ml Benedictine (brandy and herb liqueur) </li><li>15 Cherry Brandy liqueur</li><li>30ml freshly squeezed lemon juice </li><li>2 large dashes of Sky Wave Grapefruit Bitters </li><li>Merchants Heart soda water to top up  </li></ul>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-method">METHOD </h2>



<p>Add all ingredients apart from soda water to a cocktail shaker. </p>



<p>Shake well. </p>



<p>Strain into a glass filled with ice. </p>



<p>Top with soda water and add a slice of orange. </p>
