I’m quite a fan of ‘inside celeb house’ features in a kind of car-crash way. I’m fascinated why someone as massively wealthy and famous as Tommy Hilfiger, for example, feels compelled to reveal his private residence and let us watch him and his wife posturing wildly for a photoshoot there. But I’m kind of glad he did!

This is his Miami home and this video is almost as interesting for the obsequious British interior designer he employed to help his wife create rooms with yellow polka dots on the walls, latex Madame Tussauds-like security man (seriously) and a bedroom that is so fluffy and feminine that it might as well not sleep Tommy in it at all. Mr Muddy would go on strike if this was our marital suite.

 

Expect to witness a lot of hot air being blown up the Hilfiger posterior, along with some out-there interior design that, depending on your view, either pushes new boundaries or is the ultimate example of money triumphing over taste. Frankly I found it highly amusing viewing, so hopefully you will too!
