Property Flirt – guess the price!
There were quite a few of you within £20k of the asking price on the beautiful cottage on the Bucks/Berks borders a few weeks back but no-one’s been bang on the money yet and won the £10,000 windfall from Muddy HQ (joke. Seriously, JOKE!!).
So let’s see if you can do it with this one. Excuse me while I sit behind my oak desk, put on a tweed jacket with leather elbow patches, find a pair of Seventies glasses and practise my slow gutteral chuckle haw-haw-haw. Right, we’re ready to go!
Ready for your starter for ten? Start the clock….. NOW
OK. Say hello to this four bedroom, 3 bathroom barn conversion property, located between the Oxfordshire town of Thame and the Midsomer-Murder-pretty-as-a-picture village of Long Crendon, and a short walk by footpath to both.
It’s in good nick throughout, and the layout means that the bedrooms and bathrooms lie to one side of the property and the kitchen/breakfast room, a sitting room, hallway and cloakroom are to the other side.
Don’t guess yet, I want you to get it right! More clues – the sitting room with woodburner is a good size at 19ft and the kitchen is 18 ft. There’s a garage, and storage room, manicured gardens and off road parking. You can probably add a couple of thousand quid at least for the opportunity to put your child through (I am, into) the Buckinghamshire grammar schools 11+. They are also in catchment for Lord Bill’s secondary school in Thame.
Here have a couple more photos to help your decision-making, plus you should know that there’s no chain.
Right then, consult your mates if you’re at work or having a coff (or ask your children if you’re at home tearing your hair out), have a friendly bet on it.
Now (drrrrrrrrrumroll), see if you guessed right on the price. Well, did you?!
