The Muddy JOBS site!
I’ve come over all jittery and overexcited, and it’s not like I’ve even had my sixth coffee of the morning yet. Holy crap, the Muddy JOBS site is alive and kicking, people!
If this latest development on the blogaroo has passed you by (where have you been?!) , I decided to start a proper JOBS section on the blog a few months ago because I constantly meet so many brilliant, smart people who are struggling to stop the commute, or change career, or find something that they can do locally around their kids that won’t freeze their brain, but they just can’t seem to find it in the local papers and mags.
When I did post the occasional job on my pinboard the post filled really easily, and it got me thinking about creating a jobs site that would specifically answer the needs of Muddy readers. You’re all very different – some full time careerists, others looking for casual and school-time, men and women, in your thirties up to your sixties, living all over Bucks and Oxon, but the one thing all Muddy readers have in common is that they’re smart, curious and very talented.
The Muddy Jobs site is starting selectively small, and will grow organically over the next few months. You can sign up for weekly job alert newsletters on the Jobs site, and also see the jobs that are available from today. New jobs will be added all the time so if you don’t sign up for the alerts, definitely make sure you check back regularly.
Employers big or small looking for a star staffer can upload their Jobs easily too from the Jobs homepage – it’s all automated so you can go ahead and get your vacancies up on the site whenever you’re ready.
The Jobs site can be accessed at all times from a large button on the homepage of the blog on PC, directly beneath the Little Black Book on the right hand side. It looks like this.
Or if you’re searching on mobile scroll to the bottom of the page, or click here
I’m not anticipating any whopper problems (famous last words) but, thinking about it, this is the real world so please bear with me for the next week in case of any tecky glitches! If you do have any problems please get in contact asap to email@example.com and I’ll be right on it, and of course all feedback is massively welcome. I’m particularly partial to the good stuff, but I’m not fussy, I’ll take anything.
