Book this: Rush are doing Kids Summer Camps!

It was with a feeling of slightly weepy gratitude that I received a newsletter from Rush Trampolining the other day. The independently owned trampolining park in High Wycombe recently won the Muddy Award for Best Family Attraction, but to that I can now add the accolade ‘Best Place to Dump Your Kids for the Day’.

If like me you live in fear of the summer holidays, the bob and weave of trying to work whilst your kids are under your feet, imploring you with limpid saucer eyes to ‘play’ rather than stuff them in front of the telly, this one’s for you.

For lo! Rush is introducing holiday camps for the first time this summer, and to quote the oldest Mudlet, look ‘totally sick’. (translation from yob to human: really brilliant).

Either multi-activity camps for 5-11 year old (9am – 4.30pm), or Coaching Workshops for 11-15 year olds (1.30pm – 4.30pm) . There’s early drop off and late pick up so you can actually dump them from 8.30am and pick up at 6pm for an extra £5 – seriously!!-  and since my kids are already Rush nuts, it’s a no-brainer to send them for the day.

The Multi-activity camp has tumble, freestyle and trampoline coaching, plus unlimited acccess to the trampolining area, and also arts and crafts activities. It’s £27.50 if you book before 30 June so and £30 afterwards. Either way it sounds like a total, utter, delicioso bargain. Plus your children will be so exhausted after all that bouncing they might even do what you ask without grunt or complaint. No? Well, even Rush aren’t miracle workers.
