Really brilliant homegrown kids clothing brands are pretty hard to find out this way, but Angel and Rocket is a corker. Based on Marlow High Street, the store is owned by Kate Bostock, who has form in kidswear – she previously held executive roles managing children’s wear for Next and M&S.

Her ambition to start her own brand resulted in Angel & Rocket in 2014, and since then she’s opened her bricks and mortar store, and is stocked by the likes of John Lewis, plus various independent boutiques. We particularly love the splatter onesie and shapesorter blanket for babies, the cute party dresses for girls and the casual wear for boys (check out the brushed check ‘shacket’ – yes it is a word!).

The brand caters for newborns up to 10 year olds and the prevailing vibe is that it’s cool to be different. Couldn’t agree more.
