Muddy’s love affair with Bluebell Biscuiterie’s bespoke biccies (try saying that after a glass of fizz) goes as far back as 2017, when it won Best Food and Drinks Producer at the Muddy Awards, right up to this year when they provided us with perfectly iced stiletto biscuits for our 2023 Awards Drinks. So this recommendation comes tried and tasted (and tried again, just to be sure).

Run by Celia Smith (or Mrs Smith to those in the know), this passion project turned award-winning biz offers a gorgeous selection of handcrafted biscuits with detailed designs ranging from Christmas-themed to chic wedding table treats and baby shower goodies. Still sending thank you cards in 2023? Put the pen down, lady! Mrs Smith also makes one-of-a-kind gift boxes you can order online – all you have to do is choose a theme and flavour (tasking work, I know), and she’ll sort the rest. And if you’re heading up the office party, Bluebell’s corporate CV includes working with business giants the likes of Rolex and H&M, so you’ll be in great company.

Pretty themes aside (though let’s be honest, these biscuits are just begging for a spot on the Insta feed); the flavours have something for everyone – hello, zesty lemon, chocolate, and the ultimate crowd-pleaser Madagascan vanilla – plus, gluten-free vanilla.

As you’d expect, shopping from indies like Bluebell Biscuiterie is supporting local but sustainable too. Mrs Smith goes the extra mile to ensure all packaging is fully recyclable for guilt-free indulgence.

If you prefer to get your hands doughy, you’ll have to keep an eye on her website for family-friendly workshops. Until then, you’ll just have to go with the expertly crafted ones. Yum.
