Muddy says: Teens not sure what creative path they want to pursue at uni? Here’s their solution – a super-useful five day summer course, for 15 – 17 year olds, to give them the advice and support they need.

This brand spanking new five-day summer school, for teens aged 15 – 17, is the only of its kind in the UK and is perfect if your child is thinking about choosing a creative course at university but is unsure of what path they want to take. I think it’s a brilliant idea, as teens can make an informed decision before they (or, most probably, you!) spend an obscene amount on uni fees.

Informative and interesting, each day covers a different creative subject including Information & Graphics, Architecture & Graphics, Automotive & Transport, Product & Industrial, with the last day dedicated to UCAS portfolio development (super important stuff). Teens will get a valuable insight into each field from specialist lecturers and take part in challenging creative exercises, PLUS the course is hosted in Oxford Brookes University, so top notch facilities.

The five day course costs £299, which includes equipment, a certificate on completion and an info pack with details of degree courses and recommended further study – the first course runs Mon 5 – Fri 9 Aug 2019, and if you book before 30 May, you can snaffle an EarlyBird offer of £250, so get in there fast!
