Eynsham Hall, Witney

The stunning exterior and 3000 acres of 18th century Eynsham Hall offer ample charms to those who want heritage style on a 3 star budget.

Eynsham Hall is quite the looker. The manor house, built in the 1700s with later additions, is found not in Eynsham but in North Leigh, situated on the A4095 between Witney and Woodstock.

A popular conference and wedding venue, Eynsham Hall is a 3 star venue, in grounds of 3000 acres, with recent refurbishment complete in the Main Hall bedrooms and public areas, and a new contemporary brasserie in collaboration with design consultancy Project Orange. There’s a whopper 40 meeting and function rooms, and if you’re planning to stay, 34 boutique rooms in the main hall or 101 smaller rooms in the grounds (and yep, it’s dog-friendly).

The afternoon teas are good value and look mighty pretty (my mum had one the other week with her tennis pals and filled her boots!).
