The 2016 Muddy Award winners for Best Hair Salon, Gatsby & Miller is a bright, airy, compact salon with floor to ceiling glass and functional, shiny, stylish interior. Set up in 2011 on the Sycamore road in the heart of new Amersham, it also won Salon Business Award for Ultimate Large Salon of the Year 2016, so it’s clearly doing something right.

I’ve had my hair cut and coloured here and can definitely recommend it – style director Julie Church did the job and, as a Wella Professionals Master Colour Expert, it really showed. And since then editorial assistant Sophie has had some rose gold balayage at Gatsby & Miller too, so it’s a definite Muddy endorsement on this one!
