The Jericho Kitchen Cookery School
Muddy says: One of the leading cookery schools in Oxfordshire, with three lovely venues and a wide variety of courses on offer, from Japanese and Moroccan through to modern British. Highly recommended.
I once managed to scorch a pan of pasta (don’t ask), so I’ll definitely be booking myself into Jericho Kitchen Cookery School. Courses cover all sorts of cuisines from Japanese sushi making, Moroccan and traditional British grub to bread, cheese and Italian pasta making.
Emma, who launched the the cookery school in 2015, has worked in catering for 25 years, including prestigious stints at the Caldesi Cookery School in Marylebone and Peter Gordon’s The Providores in W1. Course are taught in Jericho Kitchen’s HQ, in Warborough (a lovely family home with herb garden and state of the art kitchen, just outside Oxford), Barefoot Café in Jericho, or the Miele Experience Centre, in Abingdon, and are led by Emma or her highly experienced cookery teachers, so you know you’ll be learning some super skills for the kitchen.
Jericho Kitchen also host supper clubs and corporate events, which include a cookery class, meal with wine and you can even get personalised aprons with the company logo for an additional cost. Groups 8 – 14 range from £80 – £90pp, groups 15+ range from £90 – £110.
