A lovely traditional Cotswolds pub with rooms, the Maytime Inn is all exposed brick work, Farrow and Ball walls, log fires and a stonkingly lovely garden with amazing views, an outdoor gin bar and boules pitch.

Plenty to recommend here – the food is superior gastro fare, the bedrooms are stylish, it’s great for tourists, locals, families, Sunday lunchers and dogs (it’s extremely pooch-friendly). There’s a strong events programme including live music, quiz nights, World Gin Day and Summer parties.
