Little Black Book Pubs & Inns

The Oxford Arms, Kirtlington

A quintessentially English pub 20 minutes north of Oxford, with log fires for winter and a and pretty patio garden. Please note: not suitable for under 12s.

This lovely award-winning 19th century dining pub in Kirtlington prides itself on quality food without fuss, and boasts its own organic kitchen.

Chef Patron Bryn Jones has been running the pub for 15 years and his vision is a relaxed grown up space (no under 12s here). Cosy log fires in the winter and a pretty patio garden in the summer make it a versatile option. The pub is around 20 minutes from Oxford and 25 minutes from Waddesdon Manor by car if you’re day tripping.
