The Potters Arms, Amersham
Muddy says: Imagine combining a top London comedy club with a rural pub and you pretty much have The Potter’s Arms, a traditional local with an outstanding rota of comedy talent.
Imagine combining a top London comedy club with a rural pub and you have The Potter’s Arms, a traditional village local in rural Bucks, just outside Amersham.
The pub is unpretentious, the food is decent but it’s the comedy that will blow your head off – the regular Comedy Nights are held on the last Thursday of every month and pull in massive national names such as Zoe Lyons and John Fothergill. You get three top comedians, a main meal and plenty of laughs all for under £20. I’ve been before and it’s a really fun night out.
If you want to see the comedy and have a drink, The Potters Arms has four En-Suite Bed & Breakfast Rooms with WiFi for all guests in the rooms and – most importantly in my book – tea & coffee facilities in the room.
