Ultimate Activity Camps

Planning ahead for the school holidays? Our go-to in Oxfordshire is Ultimate Activity Camps – with over 40 pursuits to try out, they’re bound to wear out the little blighters.

Ultimate Activity Camps work with some of the best schools in the area to provide Ofsted-registered activity day camps for children aged 4-14 – and help knackered parents with school holiday headaches. You know I’ve reviewed most schools on the planet for Muddy (well, nearly), so I know that the facilities at these venues are top-notch.

There are over 40 activities on offer, from archery to zorbing, and sports we’ve never even heard of (Danish longball, anyone?). Once your kids are worn out, there are more chilled pursuits on offer too, including art classes, paper craft and story adventure.

There’s also an Ultimate Survival Camp for those aged 7-14 years with an urge to whittle their own knives and bath in freezing waters (or maybe just roast marshmallows on the fire). These camps promise to teach your mini Ray Mears basic survival skills as well as outdoor games and activities – all under the guise of surviving a shipwreck or a collapse in society. Sounds a slightly alarming day if you’re a middle aged woman but a whole heap of fun for the target market!
