The Woburn Hotel
Muddy says: Found in the pretty Georgian Village of Woburn on the Bucks/Beds border, The Woburn Hotel has a classic English charm and top-tier dining, all set within the beautiful Woburn Estate.
Set in the stunning Woburn Estate (including Woburn Abbey, Gardens and Deer Park, Woburn Safari Park and Woburn Golf Club), in the picturesque Georgian village of Woburn, this 18th century hotel is just 15 minutes from Milton Keynes and 30 minutes from Luton. The hotel boasts 4 AA stars and has 55 rooms, including seven cottage suites, family rooms and the beautifully themed Abbey rooms that take inspiration from the Estate’s history.
Olivier’s restaurant at The Woburn Hotel offers top-tier dining without the stuffiness, and has maintained its two AA rosettes for the past decade, all the while keeping things perfectly laid back and lovely. The restaurant underwent an extensive refurb last year too – think plump upholstery, dramatic art and teal tones.
The Repton Room, next door has also had the interior design wand waved, and is ideal for afternoon teas and light lunches, underneath chandeliers and elegant high ceilings.
The Woburn Hotel hosts weddings and special events for up to 80 guests.
