There was a sweet spot for beer advertising in the Nineties, when Stella Artois had a gallic twinkle in its eye, the Guinness horses were crashing through the waves and Melanies Sykes was using Boddingtons as her SPF15.
Since then it’s all been it a bit meh. But this new campaign for Guinness in America has a twist in the tail that truly surprises. Try to ignore the cheesy US voiceover at the end and tell me what you think!
