Farewell Awards 2014!

Hmmm, you’ve reached an older feature - let’s get you up to date! Read our latest Muddy Awards features here.

Paul Wilkinson Photography Ltd.
Well that was fun! The Muddy Awards 2014 are over for another year. Drinkies were had with the winners yesterday at my place – a surprise move but unfortunately entirely necessary because of the monsoon outside *sigh*.  Cue panicked sweeping up of Weetabix and shoving the contents of the house into my children’s rooms.

Food was of course provided by the winner of Best Local Producer, the lovely Lucy from Made by Mums (and OMG how it was hoovered up by the guests). I bought in vats of bubbles, for tis the Muddy way, and everyone had a lovely mingly time. The brilliant award-winning photographer Paul Wilkinson, as always, was on hand to take the snaps of the winners and his snaps are above and below.

Anyway, here are a few pics of the winners for your delection. You’ll see the cross-dressing stilettos from my Awards ads were the hit of the day!

Talking of cross-dressing stilettos, a big thank you to Emma at Buggyfit, Matt at The Hundred of Ashendon, Marcus at FROM (whose photo I can’t find for some reason, but will put on at a later date because it’s hilarious) and Simon at Little Italy for being such a good laugh and donning the shoes for my Awards  ads.

Finally, big thank you to Michael Phillips and Alex Dew, the super-talented students at Buckinghamshire New University who created the ads for me with the help of a red hot crew of cameramen (Mitchell Green-Muid and Chris Grundy) and superb sound guy (Josh Reid).

Thank you so much to all of you who voted. I *sob* love you guys! x

Thanks for organising such a lovely day, and especially for the award Hero!
Lots of my friends have already commented on how nice I look in your stilettos, you must tell me where you got them!

You wore them with such ease, I suspect you already have a pair in the wardrobe… Thanks for coming James, really lovely to meet you.
