Muddy flippin’ WON!

IMG_5705
It’s been quite a few weeks for Awards (*wipe brow*).  The Muddy Awards took over my life so much over the last month that I didn’t find a minute to tell you that I managed to win a gong myself back in April! I KNOW!!!!

If you read the blog regularly you’ll know that last year it was close-but-no-cigar at the UK National Blog Awards when I was beaten to Most Innovative Blog at the UK National Blog Awards by the OCD Squirrel (nope, not joking). This year my heart sank when I saw that one of the ten finalists was – get this – Woozer the dog. Seriously.

Holy crap, a bit dazed and confused at this point!

Holy crap, a bit dazed and confused (and, um, shiny) at this point!

Anyway, call the RSPCA baby, because this year, in my slinky black jumpsuit (The Dressing Room, you totally nailed it for me with this Nadia Tarr number – thank you!), woman asserted her dominance over rat and hound, so you are at this very moment reading the Most Innovative Blog in the UK!!!

Muddy Stilettos was also runner-up in the Best Lifestyle Blog category, so it was quite a night. But fear not, I’m not about to lose myself in up-my-own-bumness, as I’m fully aware that I couldn’t have even reached the finals of the UK Blog Awards without your help, because like my own Muddy Awards, it’s a public vote of confidence that even gets you under the judges noses. So it’s a (*sob*) massive (*sniff*) thank you from me to Muddy readers who yet again prove they totally ROCK.I’m totally energised to keep making Muddy as good as it can possibly be, so thank you, and keep reading!

Hero x

I get the energy from a large gin bottle, taken intravenously every evening. Works a treat. Thanks Nicky! xxx
