Let’s PARTY!!! Cornwell Manor opens for guests
Whoo-hoo! I’m so excited to tell you about this because I know Cornwell Manor – I had a sneaky peaky around it last year (friend of a friend stuff) – and I’m not kidding, it’s one of the loveliest manor houses in the Cotswolds. It’s a total stonker.
Cornwell Manor is close to Chipping Norton in stunning rolling countryside, a 2000 acre estate with a Jacobean manor house (updated with a Georgian facade in the 18th century), a petite Norman church, lakes, wood, streams and gardens designed by Clough Williams-Ellis who created the brilliant Italianate gardens at Portmeirion in North Wales.
I took these photos last summer, try not to bite your fist when I show you these pics.
Now the house is being let for private parties and weekends – it would be an awesome space for a 30th, 40th or 50th – and the ballroom and walled garden are now open for civil ceremonies and wedding receptions. Here’s a 360 of the room, or a photo below if you prefer not to spin.

Cornwell is having an Open Day on Saturday 7 May to publicise its new ventures, and as part of the day the gardens will be open to the public for the first time in 10 years. Ten years!! So if you have a significant party coming up, or a wedding to organise, or let’s face, want a sneaky look at one of the most beautiful gardens in England, here’s your opportunity.
