Stuff the diet! WIN a lunch at Raymond Blanc’s favourite restaurant!

Hmmm, you’ve reached an older feature - let’s get you up to date! Read our latest PAST COMPETITIONS features here.

Can’t bear another salad for lunch? I’m with you all the way. So, my foodie friends, I hereby offer you the first Muddy Stilettos giveaway of the year, and it’s lip-smackingly good.
Ditch your trainers for some heels (stilettos, naturellement) , switch off your Weight Watchers app for the afternoon and luxuriate in an exquisite Modern European set lunch for 2* courtesy of the brilliant Artichoke restaurant in Old Amersham.

Presentation. Must remember that one.

Monsieur Blanc had his Christmas party here and regularly munches his way through the menu.  And who can blame him? The Good Food Guide 2012 lists Artichoke in the Top 50 restaurants in the UK and it’s a Rising Star in the 2011 Michelin Guide. Plus Laurie Gear happens to be just about the most approachable, mild-mannered chef in the world. I know, amazingly, they do exist.

It’s easy peasy to enter and listen up peeps – YOU CAN ENTER MORE THAN ONCE! (If you already follow Muddy Stilettos, that will count as one entry). Here’s how to do it:

1. Follow me at Just click the ‘follow me – it’s free!’ tab on my homepage and follow instructions.

2. Follow this link to [email protected] and Artichoke at [email protected] and click ‘follow’. (You can only do this if you have a twitter account. Hey, maybe it’s time!).

That will take you, oooh, about 10 seconds all up.

The lucky winner will be chosen by my usual method – a whole pile of names on a sheet of paper and one toddler armed with a sharp pin. Closing date for entries Monday February 6th.

*Liquid fun not included. I have to save you some calories somewhere!
