Velvet Brown posh polo rug winner – last call!

Hmmm, you’ve reached an older feature - let’s get you up to date! Read our latest PAST COMPETITIONS features here.

That lovely luxe picnic polo rug with leather holder from Velvet Brown is burning a hole in my entrance hall cupboard. If anyone knows Jess Garmon Jones please tell her to get in touch to claim her lovely prize. I’ll wait another week and then someone else will get the chance to have a dry bum  instead.

While I’m here I should also say congrats to Velvet Brown on their gorgeously-appointed new shop in Long Crendon (above), near to Thame. Combining floristry and interiorsy bits, it has a lovely vibe and some lovely tit-bits – perfect for pressies or for bits of interest around house. Nothing seriously expensive either. Had a sneaky peak and took lots of pics. Nicely done, don’t you think?

I love these little tea-lights. They were only a couple of quid each.

Velvet Brown, 1a The Square, Long Crendon, Bucks HP18 9AA. Tel: 01844 208261. Please note: closed Monday and Sunday.
