Muddy makes the glossies
I'm too proud to be modest - check out Muddy Stilettos over SIX pages in the brilliant Psychologies magazine!
Oh my flippin G! I can’t pretend for a second to not to be wildly OVEREXCITED, totally GIDDY and pathetically THRILLED to be featured in Psychologies magazine this month.
Firstly and genuinely, Psychologies is one of my super-favourite mags because it’s so emotionally on it and cuts through all the rubbish thrown in your way. Seriously, try it if you haven’t read it before, you’ll never look back.
And, secondly, the feature on ‘My Life, My Way’ (subtitled ‘My So-Called Life, By The Seat of My Goddam Pants’) goes over a I-can’t-quite-believe-it six pages.
A lovely photographer Leanne came up to take the photos in August and we zipped around from home to hay bales, with the brilliant local make up artist Harriet Thorpe (an alumni of Pinewood Studio’s Iver Make Up Academy) in tow, below.
I’ve done quite a few photoshoots in the past for features I’ve written for newspapers and glossies, and a couple of others for Muddy, and they’re always great fun, but they’re also strangely tiring – a blur of primping, amateur posing, outfit changes and chatting for hours on end (yeah OK, those last two are easy). Anyway, here are a few behind-the-scenes shots that editorial assistant Sophie took to give you a flavour of the day.
Right, my boasting now officialy over. But do buy Psychologies if you’re curious to see the feature properly, or perhaps more importantly if you fancy hottie actor Chris Hemsworth – he’s on this month’s cover!
