FOUND: pop up Feather & Black clearance outlet in Banbury

Hmmm, you’ve reached an older feature - let’s get you up to date! Read our latest Interiors features here.

A room at the Hotel du Vin. Why? Because it has a picture of a bed in it!!

I am attempting this post from West Wales on my iPad with a dodgy signal so who knows how this post will turn out!

I shall persevere though because word  has reached my shell-like that a new clearance outlet for Feather &Black beds and Multiyork sofas has just opened in Banbury. Never mind the Holy Grail, this is the kind the thing worth knowing in life.

They’re promising up to 75 per cent off bedsteads, furniture, mattresses, bed linen, and accessories, a discount worth having in these straitened times. The shop is a pop up and will be open for only four months so it’s worth checking out sooner rather than later.

I can’t write any more for fear that I will smash this iPad keyboard in abject frustration so I will sign off. Back home tomorrow so normal service will resume then. Hwyl fawr!

I can confirm that this is interiors nirvana. I found the bedstead I had been cooing over online at £100 cheaper… and promptly fell in love with a grey velvet upholstered bedstead with £1,500 off. If only kids didn’t exist…

They also have some gorgeous furniture with massive discounts and loads of bargain pud soft furnishings. Great kids wool rugs at Ikea prices. Be still my credit card!

No, it didn’t. The shop is a short schlep from my office and I had an explore this lunchtime. The bedstead I am in need of is £100 cheaper than online, and more beautiful in the flesh. However, I am now in love with a grey velvet upholstered beauty that is roughly the size of my bedroom.

There are some great soft furnishings that are heavily discounted too, including scrummy kids wool rugs at Ikea prices…
