Is this the UK’s best interiors fair?

You decide! Mood boards at the ready, there are 180+ top dealers taking part in the Henley Decor Fair next month. Here are eight of our favourites to whet your appetite.

If you want the perfect mash-up of Autumn house revamp and indie business browsing, I think we’ve just found it for you. The Henley Decor Fair is back (er, guess where) next month and if your vibe is a bit less IKEA, a bit more stylish one-off statement pieces, you’re going to absolutely LOVE this event.

Held over Thurs 23 – Sun 26 Sept at Greenlands Park and costing £20 for the Friday, and £15 for the weekend (note: Thursday is trade-only), there’s some serious interiors inspiration from some of the top dealers in the UK, and what I love about the Henley Decor Fair is the breadth on offer – so whether you’re into French furniture or mid century lighting, garden sculpture to fairground signage, you’re going to find something unique and beautiful amongst the 180+ dealers converging on this exquisite part of South Oxfordshire.

There have also been some improvements including a shuttle service from Henley, porter service for your purchases, more food outlets and on-site water and – most usefully – a VIP helipad (yeah, no problem, I’ll give you a lift). And don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for faces off the telly and industry experts including Gary Wallis (Restoration Workshop), Saxon Durrant of Metro Retro (Salvage Hunters: The Restorers) and the Rag & Bone Brothers (Salvage Hunters, Salvage Hunters: The Restorers).

Book your tickets here, but in the meantime, here are some of of the top names we’re loving the look of this year. Colour swatches and mood boards at the ready, let’s do this!

Nikki Page

Nikki Page Venetian Day Bed

Expect an elegant collection of antiques and objet d’art from the 19th and early 20th century, sourced mainly from France, Sweden, Italy and England and including furniture, mirrors, textiles, garden ornaments and architectural items. This Venetian day bed from the 19th century with original paintwork (£2450) will look incredible reupholstered.

Ridding and Wynn

A heady mixture of kitsch and retro cool from this Birmingham-based company – think fairground paraphernalia, religious artefacts, curios and some seriously stylish furniture like this Eames-inspired rocking chair.

Itinerant Antiques

Great name, gorgeous stuff. Mostly mid-century finds from this online antiques company – with the most out-there Instagram picture I’ve seen from a dealer in, well, forever. Not quite bow tie and tweed! I have a weakness for a drinks trolley, and this version from Thonet comes from the 1920s.

Loving this design and antiques company specialising in gardens. You’ll find plenty of beautiful urns, salting pots and planters – this elegant French cats iron jardinière in rusted blues and greys from he 1940s will give your outdoor space a lift for £140.
