Sold! Top picks from Oxon’s upcoming interiors auction

This summer's Mallams auction is a real peach, with some stunning bits for inside and out, and you get the fun of bidding. What's not to love?

The House and Garden Sale is coming up at Mallams in Abingdon and boy are we having fun poring over the wonderful, whimsical and wild contents in the sale catalogue.

We’re talking total house deco heaven – paintings, rugs, tables, cabinets, croquet sets, street lamps, vases, urns, fine wine, garden benches… and it won’t cost the earth with many items below the £300 mark (um, unless you have your eye on the rare armchair, below).

Buyers can’t yet attend the auction in person, but you can lodge bids online, by email or by phone. And it’s possible to view the sale items in person by appointment. In the meantime feast your eyes on this lot (I’ll get my coat).
