I love a clever piece of design – even better when it comes in witty packaging – so it’s happy times at Muddy HQ today.  As you can see, this egg box contains ‘Coat Eggs’ – a playful redesign of traditional coat pegs.

Lovingly ‘laid in Yorkshire’ by Daniel Schofield (hey, don’t give me a hard time, that was his joke!) they’re made of solid beech, and designed this way because Schofield couldn’t stand the way conventional hooks left indents in his clothes. Well, it’s the small things in life that niggle.

No idea about their price – rather ominously the website requests that you ask direct, presumably so that you can be sitting down when the bad news hits you. But who cares? Reading about them costs absolutely nothing!
