Wouldn’t you though?

Hmmm, you’ve reached an older feature - let’s get you up to date! Read our latest Interiors features here.

tree lampshades

Designer Jen Rowland has created quite a niche for herself in nature-inspired homeware and gifts. These ‘Tree’ lampshades are available at the rather wonderful gift shop The Nest at No.9 in Olney as well as Big Sky in Great Missenden (and elsewhere locally too no doubt – everyone feel free to chip in!).
The shades are printed on 100% pure silks, linens or cotton fabrics and suitable for table lamps, standard lamps and pendant shades. I love the muted colours and stark shapes, they’re almost like works of art in their own right.
If you can’t make it all the way to Olney or Missenden, pick up the blower to order, or to see the full range of products (I’m in love with the graphite duck cushions!), you can go direct to the designer here. Please be aware that The Nest at No.9 is closed on Mondays.
The Nest at No.9, 9 High Street, Olney, Buckinghamshire MK46 4EB. Tel: 01234 714809.
Big Sky, 67 High St, Great Missenden, Bucks HP16 0AL. Tel: 01494 864025

Yes I was in there today funnily enough! The owner was absolutely lovely. Maybe I should put Blue Sky in the feature too. Thanks Rachel x
