Muddy Men, this one’s for you!

Hmmm, you’ve reached an older feature - let’s get you up to date! Read our latest Shopping features here.

Optimus Prime[1]Muddy men, though you’re often teased and prodded on Muddy Stilettos (because I know you like it that way), let it not be said that I never take you into consideration.

It is of course Father’s day this Sunday and you may want to plant a seed in your other half’s head to take you to the Eden Centre at some point in the day. Optimus Prime (truck version and robot) happens to be there with his mate Bumble Bee to amuse your kids while you sneak off and spend a whole wodge of cash on all kinds of blokish frivolities.

There’s keepy uppy, face painting and temporary tattoos for kids, and even a craft workshop where your other half can park the kids if she hasn’t got around to buying something for you ‘from the children’. Plus competitions including a family ticket to the Roald Dahl museum, and two Huggable Hero bear toys from the Build a Bear Workshop. Kids need to come to the centre dressed up as their favourite superhero on Saturday. Your fancy dress is of course optional (though really, don’t you want to?!).

Wow Optimus Prime! I love the Eden Project it’s a great day out, they’ve also got fantastic ice cream.
One of the most useful things about your blog was reminding me it was father’s day coming up – I’d completely forgotten (again!)
Keep up the good work Hero, more Male oriented blogs welcome! (could you remind us of other key dates too?!)

Hi James, it’s not the Eden Project in Cornwall, it’s the Eden Centre in High Wycombe! But you’re right, the Eden Project is fab too LOL! Will definitely do some more Muddy men posts, I am hearing it loud and clear from the blokes. Hero x
