Wouldn’t you though?

I’m a relatively new convert to face oils, but I can tell you this one by British beauty brand Gunjeoir is a winner. The Deco packaging is beautiful (and timely with The Great Gatsby out a the mo) and I did get quite a thrill as it came through the post.
Then I unwrapped it…
And unwrapped it some more…
And out it popped. Ah, so pretty!
But we all know looks only get you so far in life. Does it actually work?
The Neroli Face Elixir, recommended by the Telegraph and just popping up in Elle Deco if you care about such things, is anti-ageing. Frankly you can take that as read if I’m reviewing a face cream these days!
It blends rosehip oil (skin regeneration), vitamin E (improving skin texture) , avocado oil (moisturising), wheatgerm oil (antioxidant) and argan oil (skin firming), along with essential oils including neroli, rose otto and jasmine (er, smells nice).
I’ve used it for a week and though it’s too soon to tell if I’ve transformed into Jennifer Garner just yet, my skin is definitely softer, and somehow – this will sound a bit silly but I think you’ll know what I mean – I just like putting it on. It feels feminine and indulgent and luxurious, and I don’t many modern women give themselves enough of that these days.
The packaging makes it a clever option for presents but if you don’t fancy paying £57 for this face oil (let’s face it, on most upper end of budgets), it’s worth checking out the other products in the range – there’s a fantastic-sounding exfoliating balm that claims to moisturise at the same time as exfoliate (£30), plus there are soaps and toners to choose from here.
