<p>Toffee apples, hot dogs, whizzing rockets &#8211; let&#8217;s all have a collective ooooh and ahhh for the joy of fireworks night. It&#8217;s the kind of night you remember into adulthood &#8211; and the annual <a href="https://go.kaboodle.co.uk/Blackpit-Bonfire-2023" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Blackpit Brewery bonfire and firework display</a>, between Silverstone and Stowe in North Buckinghamshire, is the most spectacular in the region. It&#8217;s always a sell out and this year&#8217;s show on Sat 4 Nov (3-8pm), is going to blow your mind! Here&#8217;s what you need to remember, remember. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-the-fireworks">THE FIREWORKS</h2>

<p>Let&#8217;s be honest, it&#8217;s the big bangs that are the big draw &#8211; and with Titanium Fireworks in charge of the show, you know you&#8217;re going to get a world class show. Titanium are the guys who light up the London Eye every new year and oversee displays for events like the Commonwealth Games and Henley Festival. It&#8217;s all about the timing, the colours and the displays to give maximum impact, and with the lake beneath the fireworks at Blackpit, you get the double wow of reflections of the displays on the water.  </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">THE BONFIRE</h2>

<p>A pile of pallets and cardboard boxes this ain&#8217;t &#8211; at Blackpit, the bonfire is always a highlight of the evening. A vast sculpture is built and then dramatically set alight to burn in its own dramatic display. Past sculptures have included a hawk, a sky rocket and a rising sun. This year&#8217;s design is strictly under wraps, but is sure to be another showstopper.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">THE FOOD</h2>

<p>You can go for the classic bonfire night choice of a hot dog, but we challenge you not to get tempted by some of the finest street food vendors on the UK circuit. Try Yardbirds, with their trademark American fried chicken burgers, grilled cheese toasties from That&#8217;s Mature or burgers from The Patty Freaks (winners of Britain’s Best Burger at the UK Street Food Awards &#8211; also, great brand name!), or try La Pizzeria, La Levantina paella, La Cantina Mexican food, Disco Fries, Kebab Cartel or Buddha Belly Thai, then The Bourneville Waffle Co. &amp; Carnival Coffee to round off the night. The bars will be serving lagers and ales, including <a href="http://www.facebook.com/blackpitbrewery" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Blackpit&#8217;s</a> legendary session ales of course, as well as mulled wine and Prosecco. Basically, this is not the night to be worrying about your waistline.</p>

<p>If a stonking great firework display and bonfire sculpture isn&#8217;t enough (wow, you have sky high standards lady), there&#8217;s also a funfair at the site so you and the kids can enjoy the view from the big wheel and get stuck into the fairground rides. Plus there will be entertainers roaming the crowds. </p>

<p>With the funfair, entertainers, fireworks, bonfire, face painters and marshmallow toasting to boot, it&#8217;s a pretty dreamy evening out for the kids. And it&#8217;s child-friendly with the timing, as it&#8217;s all wrapped up by 8pm. The best bit? Kids aged 15 and under go free.
