<p>We&#8217;ve been keeping our ears to the ground for news of Eynsham Hall in Witney (above) since it was sold way back in 2018, and now we hear particularly chic rumblings. Due to open in Spring 2023, the venue will be relaunching as <strong>Estelle Manor</strong> &#8211; yep, that&#8217;s Estelle as in <a href="https://maisonestelle.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Maison Estelle</a>, Soho&#8217;s most exclusive private members club that&#8217;s popular with movers, shakers and even royals (Princess Beatrice was spotted there recently). Looks like Soho Farmhouse is going to have some serious Cotswolds competition.</p>

This Swedish brand is all about sleek, Scandi streetwear for men and women &#8211; perfect for the January fitness push and those sofa days in equal measure. </p>

<p>Ready to make a dinner date reservation? The Cygnet restaurant at The Swan Inn in Islip opened its doors last month, under head chef Paul Welburn (of what was once the Michelin-starred 215 Kitchen and Drinks, Oxford) at the helm. They&#8217;ll be opening again for dining on <strong>18 Jan</strong>. </p>



<p>If you&#8217;ve a hankering for Sri Lankan kottu, mutton rolls and South Indian dosa, then get thee to High Wycombe where new Sri Lankan restaurant Taste of Ceylon Spice just opened on Castle Street. It&#8217;s owner Val Rajah&#8217;s first foray into restaurants, so go show the team some love. </p>



<p>Exciting news for Charlbury residents &#8211; chef, caterer and pop-up queen Chloe Horner of <a href="https://www.oxfork.co" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Oxfork</a> has just picked up keys to new premises Chloe&#8217;s on Market Street. We can&#8217;t wait to see what she does with the place! News as we have it&#8230; </p>

<p>Spotted Gary Oldman skulking around Oxford lately? That&#8217;s because his Apple TV+ spy drama <em>Slow Horses</em> is filming around the Blavatnik School of Government (above). No surprise really, as the TV series is based on the novels of Oxford local Mick Herron. You&#8217;ll have to wait until late in the year to see season three on the small screen, though!</p>
