Let’s ease you in gently – if you’re out with the whole fam head to&nbsp;<a href="https://www.stonor.com/events/henley-country-craft-show/">Henley Country Craft Show</a>&nbsp;arriving at&nbsp;Stonor&nbsp;on&nbsp;Fri 25 Aug &amp; Mon 28 Aug. A haven for artisan crafters and makers, this year brings 200 indie businesses displaying everything from handmade jewellery and homewares to clothes. Food also gets the handmade treatment – there’s a food hall with gourmet street food plus cheeses, pastries and drinks to take home – it goes without saying but bring your biggest tote. Kids can burn off energy at the funfair and crafty workshops.&nbsp;



More crowd-pleasers for all ages (hot air balloons and fireworks) take over Abingdon Airfield this Sat 26 Aug,&nbsp;for (you guessed it)&nbsp;<a href="https://www.abingdon.gov.uk/event/abingdon-balloon-fireworks-festival">Abingdon Balloon &amp; Fireworks Festival.</a>



Not had a moment to let loose this summer? Join the season&#8217;s final hurrah as&nbsp;<a href="https://www.towerseyfestival.com/">Towersey Festival</a>&nbsp;returns to the&nbsp;Claydon Estate&nbsp;for its 59th&nbsp;year (Fri 25 – Mon 28 Aug). Expect&nbsp;dance, yoga, spoken word, comedy, crafts and workshops&nbsp;for all ages plus music from The Divine Comedy, Frank Turner and The Proclaimers.

Sigrid, Tom Grennan, Blossoms, Rick Astley and more will provide the soundtrack to all the tasty fun planned which includes BBQ’s, award-winning chefs, interactive cookery sessions, tasting menus, gourmet street food, axe throwing and country and western acts.

Try&nbsp;<a href="https://foodiesfestival.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Foodies Festival</a>&nbsp;in Oxford’s&nbsp;South Park&nbsp;from this Sat 26&nbsp;–&nbsp;Mon 28 Aug &#8211; alongside demos from local chefs, restaurant tasters,&nbsp;Bake Off&nbsp;winners and artisan vendors is live music from Scouting for Girls, Martin Kemp and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

Everything&nbsp;The Arches&nbsp;does is in the open air, thanks to the unique location of the theatre under disused railway arches in Clifton Reynes near Olney.&nbsp;Join Toad and friends for some rip roaring fun on&nbsp;Sat 26 Aug&nbsp;at 2.30pm for a performance of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.thearchestheatre.co.uk/whats-on/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Wind in the Willows</a>.
