Crack open the bubbly… my beautiful blogazine is finally here!!
Hmmm, you’ve reached an older feature - let’s get you up to date! Read our latest features here.
Yes, finally, Muddy Stilettos has turned, swanlike, into a beautiful blogazine.
Are those gasps of wonder and amazement I hear?!
Please grab yourself a cup of tea (or something stronger), nestle your bum into a comfortable spot and have an indulgent mooch around the site.
There are new features like Ask Hero (see the fab illustration of moi by local supertalent Sam Osborne) and Local Pinboard where you can connect directly with me or others. There are loads more posts to read. And navigation is much better, so you can find what you’re looking for quickly, whether it’s a restaurant review or a place to take the kids.
Plus, you’ll notice that I now have (dun-dun-DUUUUUNNNN!) advertising. Basically, my advertisers make it possible for me to continue with Muddy Stilettos as I have to make a living!! So please, please support them by clicking through and seeing what they do. No advertisers, no Muddy Stilettos.
The brands on Muddy Stilettos have been deliberately selected as companies I feel comfortable recommending. So say hello to my new friends:
Strutt & Parker (Princes Risborough office): These guys sold my house last year – on the first weekend! In fact I had three offers to choose from. Tricia and Susan are total pros, confident, professional, reliable, no-nonsense women. I’d use them again in a flash.
FROM: Thame’s lovely concept store stocks the most wonderful jewellery, interiors, leather goods, art and luxe bathroom goodies –all sourced within 25 miles of the store. Great idea, great shop.
LASSCO: Your first stop for knock-out architectural/one-off interiors pieces. Plus a brilliant café, nestled amongst the chandeliers and antiques. A slice of quirky brilliance. I love it here.
Little Italy: My favourite espresso bar in the world, this local Haddenham institution has people coming from miles around for the relaxed vibe and fantastic coffee.
Mint Velvet: Mint Velvet boasts local roots – its first shop was in Marlow! Glam fashion that doesn’t break the bank, with plenty of stores in the area.
Reiss: Bridges the gap between designer and high street beautifully. Always on my ‘most wanted’ lists.
The White Company: If you care about cotton counts and soft slumbers, it’s White Company all the way. The owner lives a few miles down the road too doncha know!
Have fun scooting around Muddy Stilettos and please let me know what you think.
