Meet the Air Puppy Cuddle Crew. They’re local, you know

Hmmm, you’ve reached an older feature - let’s get you up to date! Read our latest Kids Shopping features here.

Just loving these Air Puppy Cuddle Crew toys, especially as they’re made by a local Beaconsfield company to exacting standards (hurray!).

Admit it, you want one.

I can definitely vouch for the quality as Cassius has been flinging his Flopsy bunny (pictured below) around by the ears for weeks like a demented hammer thrower, and they are still attached – surely some kind of stitching miracle.

There are over 45 characters to choose from, nine different ranges and three sizes (26cm, 36cm and 43 cm) so whatever your kids’ furry fascination you’re likely to find it here, unless they’re  awkward buggers like my eldest son who asks for things like an axolotl or a stick insect (grrrrr).

You can buy the Cuddle Crew in the likes of Harrods, Fenwick and Selfridges or if you’re like me and can’t be arsed to move from your sofa, online at www.kiddiebase.co.uk.

Prices start at £11.99 for a 26cm toy.

    Hello MS,

    Quick question for you.

Nicky and I have been invited to a friend’s 50th at his pile nr Aylesbury (Doddeshall Park).

Despite the 12 bedrooms he doesnt have room for us.

Hes mentioned The Five Arrows in Waddesdon or Hartwell House outside Aylesbury Do you know them?

    Can you suggest any others?

    Hope you can help.

    Tim

      Ah Mr Ashton,

I can personally vouch for Hartwell House as I had a certain significant birthday there. 12 of us stayed over (not in the same room) and it was marvellous. Bathrooms a bit ancient (and a couple with corked floors!) but the rooms large and the gardens beautiful. Definitely a good option.

Five Arrows – haven’t stayed in the hotel and had an OK meal there. Not a patch on Hartwell, though probably not a patch on the money either. Adjacent to Waddesdon which is gorgeous if you’re not too hung over the morning after. But then again, Hartwell’s only 15 mins away too.

There’s always a fantastic Sixties house in Haddenham you can stay in if you prefer!

      Hope that helps.

      Hero x
