Wouldn’t you though?

Good King Wenceslas

I’m sorry people, I’ve tried, but I can’t hold off writing about it any more – Christmas is coming and you want a wreath as lovely as this you need to goddam plan for it! This floral beauty is by Henley-based designer Sara Copeland who spends most of the year creating beautiful homes and offices but becomes chief front-door decorator in November and December, working with an equally stylish florist who brings her ideas to life.

Last year it was all about the bling, with glitter and ribbons and wreaths named after cocktails (I’m liking this woman already), but for this Christmas it’s a rustic, traditional feel with vintage flowers, hessian ribbon and natural pine cones and wreaths named after Christmas carols. Loving the pheasant feathers in this little number, they’re really beautiful aren’t they?

Each of the five wreaths costs £65, and if you’re feeling totally Christmas co-ordinated, you can also order matching designs for the mantelpiece and table centre pieces.

Sara is at the Country Homes and Interiors Christmas event at Stonor Park next weekend (25 – 27 Nov) if you can make it to have a look at her wreaths in person, otherwise check out the piccies here in the comfort of your dressing gown and slippers (admit it, you’re still in them) and give her a call. Cut off for orders is 12 Dec but the sooner you order, the sooner it’s up on your door and the sooner we can all say Christmas has started and totally trollied. Just saying people, just saying.
