Looking for a new job? Come this way…

Woman sitting on couch working on laptop computer

I’m incredibly excited about the new jobs section that will be appearing next month on Muddy in a puff of smoke, a swirl of magic, and an effortless voila! (sort of).

I won’t bore you with too much detail now as you’ll be able to see it soon enough yourselves, but the idea of the jobs section came from me posting several job ads on the blog, only to discover that the employers were inundated with brilliant, smart candidates in contrast to the tepid response from local mags, newspapers and recruitment agencies.

I already knew that you lot were smart, urbane and cosmopolitan – yeah, you blushing over there! – but it was an eye opener to think that Muddy could seriously help many more of you to connect to suitable jobs. I meet so many people in their thirties, forties and fifties who are either tired of working the 9 to 5 and the commute, or want to change their work to suit their family lives but still want to be challenged intellectually and feel they’re doing something relevant. So the Muddy Jobs site is my response to that need.

If you’re a business wanting to recruit intelligent, worldly, grown-up types (myself excluded – I too dippy to be anything but self-employed) this is the place, so please do contact [email protected] for more info. And those of you looking for work, as soon as the site goes live you’ll find a sign up so you’ll able to receive a weekly round-up of the latest jobs available in the area.

Hero x

Yes definitely. I was wondering whether it was coming over a bit ‘womany’. I won’t forget Muddy men, I promise! x
