Wouldn’t you though?
I’m a bit late to the party on this fantastic make up brand but if you’re anything like me, disheveled, harassed, struggling to wash let alone blow dry your hair as your ankle biters demand more toast and milk on a morning, it might be news to you too.
Lord & Berry has some of the slickest packaging around – I love its elegance and simplicity – and has a rather clever niche, in that they focus primarily on eyes and lips, these being the two areas they believe create the most impact in make up. The brand started in New York some years back, relocated to Milan and is now stocked in the likes of Selfridges and ASOS. Cost-wise the brand knocks the little cotton socks off the powerhouse cosmetics and fashion brands – the lipsticks below are £10 each, a relative steal.
There’s a summer range out at the mo that includes some fantastic bright colours. I’m a bit chicken about using a lot of colour on my face, particularly on my lips, but I’m always massively envious of women who know what they’re doing with a make up brush and can create dramatic looks that work. I really wish I could pull off the orangey lipstick on the far left. Maybe with a tan, low lighting and a couple of cocktails down the hatch in a country far far away I might try it. Get me tipsy enough and I might even (gulp), post it.
